About Our Founder
Alycia Brown is a dedicated entrepreneur, community leader, and passionate advocate for creating meaningful experiences for children. As the owner of Pasadena Party Patrol and the visionary behind Crown Me, Alycia has spent over 20 years designing engaging programs that inspire confidence, creativity, and connection in young people.
Her journey in youth programming began in 2004 when she founded Chandler School’s first-ever summer day camp, setting the foundation for what would become a lifelong mission—bringing high-quality, enriching experiences to families. Since then, she has continued to innovate in the world of event planning and child-focused activities, curating spaces where kids can grow, thrive, and have fun.

Why Choose Us
Culturally Relevant Programming
Our programs are crafted to reflect the richness of Black culture. From storytelling sessions led by community heroes to African dance and rhythm workshops, every element is designed to connect children to their heritage while encouraging forward-thinking growth.
Mentorship and Role Models
At Crown Me, representation is key. Our instructors, mentors, and guest speakers are successful Black professionals and community leaders who serve as role models, showing children that they, too, can achieve greatness in whatever path they choose.
A Safe Space for Exploration

Whether it’s a creative arts workshop, a science challenge, or a group sports activity, Crown Me ensures that every child feels supported as they explore new interests.
Alycia is also a dedicated mother and faithful volunteer, continually giving back to her community. The inspiration behind Crown Me was her desire to create a space where children can strengthen their identity within a supportive family group. Crown Me goes beyond summer camps by offering year-round activities, workshops, field trips, and more—serving as a lasting resource for families.
Through Crown Me, Alycia blends her expertise in event coordination with her deep commitment to youth empowerment. Her programs encourage self-expression, leadership, and community building, ensuring that every child feels seen, valued, and celebrated.
